Embakasi East Babu Owino gives out his take on having a successful marriage
Embakasi East Member of Parliament, Babu Owino, has shared his perspective on achieving a prosperous marriage.
In a podcast interview, the MP not only discussed his views on successful marriages but also provided insights into qualities to consider in a life partner.
According to Babu, navigating challenges together can be a crucial factor in evaluating the suitability of a partner, as it reflects their level of supportiveness.
“Good women come from God. A beautiful woman comes from God. A handsome man comes from the bank. All in all, the moment we will appreciate the importance of a partner is when there are challenges and if your partner is by your side always, supporting you and being strong by your side as they pray for you. Then that is the right person in your life,” he said.
The Member of Parliament representing Embakasi East went on to emphasize that a successful marriage should be a private and exclusive partnership, free from external influences.
According to him, the only third party deserving an invitation to the union should be God.
“Kama huezi mvalue, ama kumtrust why did you marry that person? The most important thing is how do you relate with your partner? Are you compatible? Do you communicate, date or rise above petty issues? “he posed.
The lawmaker encouraged men to seek life partners whom they are prepared to value and acknowledge.
Babu emphasized the importance of responsibility, particularly towards partners who become mothers, highlighting the significant commitment involved in parenthood.
“Somebody amekubali amekupatia watoto, huyo ni somebody who wants to spend time with you and spend their life with you. So hii maneno ya kuleta story nyingi ni story ya jaba. The moment you have a proper wife, you set a pace,” he said.
The Member of Parliament is wedded to Fridah Muthoni Ongili, an entrepreneur known for her involvement in a well-known fashion brand.
